Entertainer Shakti Kapoor’s child, Siddhant, has been confined for supposedly ingesting medications during a party at a Bengaluru lodging, the police said today.
Following up on a clue, police struck the party at the Park Hotel and sent examples of around 35 visitors for clinical trials. Five visitors tried positive for drugs and Siddhant Kapoor was one of them, authorities said.
Siddhant Kapoor was welcomed as a DJ at the party. Five additional individuals have been arrested.
“A sum of five people have been captured including Siddhant Kapoor after they tried positive for consuming medications. They have all been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act,” said Bheemashankar S Guled, District General of Police, East Division.
