A 13-year-old girl, who was purportedly assaulted by four individuals, was assaulted again by the Station House Officer (SHO) of a police headquarters where she had gone to record a case, authorities said on Wednesday.
The police have captured three of the denounced after a FIR was enrolled against five individuals, including the SHO, who has been suspended and is by and by fleeing, they said.
Senior police authorities said the FIR was held up in light of the grievance of the person in question.
“The FIR was stopped under different segments of the IPC, including 363 (abducting), 376 (assault), 376 B (intercourse by community worker with lady in his guardianship), 120 B (intrigue), POCSO Act and SC/ST Act,” a police explanation said.
As indicated by the casualty’s mom, her girl was taken to Bhopal on April 22 by four men and was assaulted there for three days. The charged left the young lady at the Pali police headquarters, where she was purportedly assaulted by the SHO.
The young lady came to a childline NGO later and portrayed the entire episode during guiding.
The NGO moved toward the Superintendent of Police, after whose mediation, a FIR was enrolled on Tuesday.
“The police have captured three blamed, while endeavors are on to seize others, including the SHO,” Superintendent of Police Nikhil Pathak said.
The Samajwadi Party went after the Yogi Adityanath-drove Uttar Pradesh government over the episode, asking where ought to “girls go” and “whom to trust” in this administration.
