On 30 August, 2022, Doctor Govind Nandakumar, a gastroenterology specialist, stalled out in rush hour gridlock in the Sarjapur-Marathahalli stretch while en route to play out a planned gallbladder medical procedure.
Since his patient for the day was at that point prepared for a medical procedure, Nandakumar escaped his vehicle and raced to Manipal emergency clinic, 3 kms away.

The medical procedure was effective, and the patient was released on time.
