Doctor Runs To Perform Surgery, Leaves Car In Traffic

Bengaluru is notorious for its traffic, a doctor took lengths to cover brief distances. In any case, the tale of a surprising specialist’s choice to save his patient’s existence is a moving story.

On 30 August, 2022, Doctor Govind Nandakumar, a gastroenterology specialist, stalled out in rush hour gridlock in the Sarjapur-Marathahalli stretch while en route to play out a planned gallbladder medical procedure.

Since his patient for the day was at that point prepared for a medical procedure, Nandakumar escaped his vehicle and raced to Manipal emergency clinic, 3 kms away.

As per Times of India, Nandakumar said that he needed to arrive at Manipal Hospital in Sarjapur from Cunningham Road. Because of weighty downpours and waterlogging, there was a traffic stack up in front of the emergency clinic.

Without any indication of the traffic facilitating, Nandakumar escaped his vehicle, ran for around 45 minutes to arrive at his objective to take care of his patient.

“I would have rather not burned through any additional time trusting that the traffic will clear up as my patients aren’t permitted to have their feasts until a medical procedure is finished. I would have rather not kept them hanging tight for a really long time,” he added.

Doctor Nandakumar’s group, which was prepared to initiate sedation on the patient, got into the go about when he arrived at the activity theater. Immediately, the specialist changed into careful clothing to carry out the system.

The medical procedure was effective, and the patient was released on time.
