The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is suspected of carrying out a terrible attack on Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi on Tuesday. The attackers entered his office/residence in Jaipur’s Shyam Nagar, disguised as visitors, and shot Gogamedi dead at close range. They then killed the person who had reportedly assisted them in entering without being frisked.
According to DCP (South) Yogesh Goyal, the attackers shot and injured three individuals outside the house: a bystander whose two-wheeler they stole in order to flee quickly, Gogamedi’s personal security guard, and an assistant.
Gogamedi, forty, reportedly received threats on his life and ordered his security staff to screen guests. His group, a branch of the Shri Rajput Karni Sena, spearheaded the 2017 demonstrations against the film “Padmaavat,” according to sources.

Everything that happened at Karni Sena Chief’s Residence:
Investigators are treating Naveen, a friend of Gogamedi’s, as a “accomplice.” Naveen drove the attackers to the Karni Sena leader’s residence around 1:00 pm. The car was stopped by gate guards who would not let the guests in until Shekhawat called Gogamedi, who told his staff to transfer the three of them to the room where he would regularly meet with followers and office-bearers of his outfit. Gogamedi slumped to the ground after being hit in the chest by the first bullet that the attackers fired, according to the police. In the video, Shekhawat can be seen attempting to step in, but the gunmen push him away. Shekhawat is checking on Gogamedi a few seconds later when one of the attackers opens fire on him.
Then, more bullets are fired on Karni Sena Chief Gogamedi by the second gunman. Investigators reported that there were about 17 bullets fired inside the room. Although Gogamedi’s security personnel returned fire, it wasn’t immediately clear if any of the shots hit the escaping murderers.
When Gogamedi and Shekhawat arrived at a Mansarovar private hospital, they were pronounced dead. Narendra, the injured guard for Gogamedi, and Ajeet Singh, the assistant, were recognized. The name of the two-wheeler rider who was hurt has not been disclosed. The Bishnoi gang claimed to have killed Gogamedi hours after the murder. The NIA is looking for Bishnoi’s US-based goon Rohit Godara, who claimed on Facebook that the victim was singled out because he was working with the gang’s opponents. Just like the other times, the post was taken down quickly.
