A woman was attacked and hauled by two men in Delhi’s Amar Colony. The lady, who was sitting in a private taxi, purportedly attempted to intervene between two contending drivers out and about. She was hauled by two men behind a moving vehicle.
The episode happened somewhere around two days prior.
The woman simply wanted to stop the ongoing argument; however, the man beat her up. The woman was also abused by one man.
While the Delhi Police was somewhat brief to answer the protest on their Twitter page, it is affirmed that an FIR has been enrolled against the proprietor of the vehicle.
Additionally, the vehicle has been seized and kept in the care of specialists.
“In an incident of attack on a woman in the area of PS Amar Colony involving a Baleno car, FIR was registered on the same day and one person has been arrested and the offending vehicle seized. Further investigation into the matter is underway,” Delhi Police shared on Twitter.
The road rage incident adds to the series of crimes against females that are reportedly rampant in the national capital.
