Entertainer and BJP pioneer Mithun Chakraborty has asserted that the BJP is in contact with 38 Trinamool Congress MLAs and they have “generally excellent relations” with the resistance. At a public interview in Kolkata, he likewise said that 21 out of the 38 MLAs are in direct contact with the BJP.
“Would you like to hear letting it be known? Right now, 38 TMC MLAs have generally excellent relations with us, out of which 21 are in direct (contact with us),” he was cited as saying by the news organization ANI.
Before the West Bengal Assembly races last year, various Trinamool pioneers, including Suvendu Adhikari, quit the party and joined the Trinamool Congress.
