Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lights up for Shah Rukh’s b’day

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building sparked bright to pay a tribute to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who turned 57 on Wednesday. Following the annual tradition, Burj Khalifa left no stone unturned to wish King Khan in a grand way.

As the song ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh’ from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ played in the background, words ‘Happy Birthday Shah Rukh’ flashed on the Burj Khalifa, followed by a sweet wish: “Happy Birthday Pathaan”.

The world’s tallest building also displayed a photo of Khan with the words ‘We Love You’ flashing on it. The official Twitter handle of Dubai’s famous skyscraper also shared the video of the birthday wish to Khan.

This grand gesture doesn’t come as a surprise given the fact that Khan has a massive fan following not only in India but in several other countries, including Dubai. This was the second time Khan was featured on the Burj Khalifa in the last three months.

Sometime towards September end, SRK had appeared on the world’s tallest building to share an inspiring story of a UAE-based conglomerate which is owned by an NRI businessman. The appearance was part of a brand campaign for Burjeel Holdings, which is currently the largest private healthcare provider in the UAE that owns 39 hospitals and medical centres. The 57-year-old actor is the face and brand ambassador of the group.

As the ‘Don’ star turned 57 on November 2, he appeared on the balcony of his bungalow ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai to thank thousands of fans from all across India gathered outside his house to wish the star.

As per the ritual, the actor took selfies with the huge crowd and as anticipated, did his famous signature pose. Dressed in a black t-shirt and blue jeans, Khan waved at the fans as he humbly thanked them for their warm birthday wishes before spreading his arms and flashing his signature pose.
