India Declares State Mourning For Queen Elizabeth II

A day of state grieving will be seen in India on September 11 “as a characteristic of regard” for the passing of Queen Elizabeth, the Ministry of Home Affairs declared today. She passed on yesterday at 96 years old.

“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland died on eighth September 2022. As a sign of regard to the withdrew dignitary, the Government of India has concluded that there will be one day State Mourning on September eleventh all through India,” the public statement read.

Furthermore, the National Flag will be flown at half pole all through the country on everything structures where the banner is flown routinely. “There will be no authority amusement on the day,” the service said.
