Telangana BJP MLA Raja Singh was on Tuesday captured for purportedly offering slanderous comments against Prophet Muhammad after monstrous fights emitted in Hyderabad the previous evening requesting activity against him.
P Sai Chaitanya, DCP South Zone, Hyderabad said that the dissidents accumulated at the South Zone DCP office the previous evening requesting activity against him as the MLA hurt the strict feelings of the minority local area.
A case has been enlisted under Sections 295(a), 153(a) and other pertinent segments, Chaitanya added.
As per an India Today report, The BJP MLA had delivered a video against humorist Munawar Faruqui who held a show in Hyderabad last week in the midst of fights. Prior, Singh took steps to stop Faruqui’s show and said he would torch the set at the scene. Notwithstanding, he was set detained at home for the danger.
In the video, Singh said Faruqui hurt the strict opinions of Hindus and furthermore offered comments against the joke artist and his mom. He additionally supposedly offered disparaging comments against the Prophet and Islam.
