The Ashram flyover and its extension, meets the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) flyway. It will reopen for public from today. According to Delhi government officials aware of the situation. Only Light vehicles will be allowed initially:

Commuters should use the Ashram overpass instead of the Barapullah flyover, according to the recommendation.
Importance of the flyover:
A vital bypass, the Ashram flyover directs traffic around the major crossroads of Mathura Road and Ring Road. 350,000 vehicles cross through these roads every day. The flyover was closed starting on January 1 for a 45-day period as workers connected it to the extension a few metres away.
However, this closure was extended until the end of February due to the slow progress of the work that was caused by the stretch’s heavy traffic. This added to the city’s overall traffic chaos, which caused commuters to travel much slower than usual because of the city’s poor roads and a number of ongoing infrastructure projects. The Sarai Kale Khan flyover’s expansion and the Bhairon Marg T-junction underpass are two of these projects.
A senior PWD official in charge of the Ashram project said that while the site is currently being cleaned up and the basic civil structure of the 1.4 km-long extension is ready, the remaining associated infrastructure, including street lights, road markings, signage, and other facilities, will be finished over the course of the following month.
