Y2K fashion makes a comeback as Bollywood celebs embrace the popular trend

The resurgence of the Y2K fashion style can be observed among other trends, which encapsulates the late ’90s and early-to-mid 2000s, in the world of fashion. From bandanas to lace tops, nostalgia has strongly influenced our B-town celebrities, leading them to jump on the bandwagon.

Recently, Disha Patani took to Instagram to share a photo in which the actor can be seen wearing a powder green-colored net lace crop top. The actor paired it with a shimmery long skirt.

Shimmery couture was a massive hit in the ‘2000s and the story is no different now. Sisters Janhvi and Kushi Kapoor, along with Shanaya Kapoor, were spotted in shimmery sequin short dresses. While Janhvi donned a pinkish-shade halter neck dress, Khushi wore a silver one. Keeping it chic, Shanaya donned a silver strapless dress.

Bandana is yet another Y2K fashion trend that has made a comeback! Among many others, Neha Dhupia has been spotted wearing them a lot. The actor shared one such picture on her Instagram. She wrapped a scarf around her head, matching her outfit.

Baby tees were a massive craze at the beginning of the 2000s and also of the Y2K fashion. But, the trend hasn’t lost its relevance even two decades later. Sara Ali Khan wore a white cute looking baby tee crop top while working out and we love how she looked.

Pleated and colorful skirts are again in fashion! Khushi Kapoor posted a picture on Instagram in which she can be seen wearing a pastel purple cardigan and paired it with a white pleated skirt. Her shimmery make-up and shiny silver heels made us go back in time.
