According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Joe Biden, US President had cancelled a meeting with Olaf Scholz, German Chancellor at the G7 summit in June 2022. Leaving the German side ‘surprised,’ US Secretary of State Antony Blinken instead of Biden, had arrived for the meeting, WSJ reported. Blinken reportedly told the Germans that the 81-year-old couldn’t attend the meeting because he “had to go to bed.”
