Following his visit to Italy, U.S. Vice President JD Vance is set to begin his first official visit to India from April 21 to April 24. He is expected to land in New Delhi around 9:30 AM on Monday and will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 6:30 PM the same day, as reported by ANI citing the White House Press Pool.
In addition to Delhi, Vance will travel to Jaipur on Tuesday and Agra on Wednesday, before departing India on Thursday morning.
To ensure smooth traffic movement during his visit, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for April 21, highlighting key routes to avoid and recommending the use of public transport throughout the day to reduce congestion.

Improperly parked vehicles will be towed to the traffic pit at Kalibari Mandir Marg (near Bhairon Temple).
Alternate Routes:
- To reach 11 Murti to RML: Use Vande Matram Marg via Dhaula Kuan flyover → R/A Shankar Road → Talkatora Road → Sheikh Mujib-ur-Rehman Marg
- From the airport to Dhaula Kuan (and vice versa): Use Rao Tula Ram Marg
