This victory marked CSK’s third win of the season, putting a stop to KKR’s winning streak.

Gaikwad’s impressive half-century not only anchored the chase but also established him as the first CSK captain in the last five years to achieve this milestone in the IPL. His leadership and batting prowess played a pivotal role in securing the victory for Chennai.

Gaikwad, in particular, played a crucial role by finding gaps in the field and scoring boundaries at crucial moments. Shivam Dube’s aggressive 28 off 18 balls further propelled CSK towards victory.
