Actress Deepika Padukone, who announced her pregnancy earlier this year, was recently spotted on the sets of Singham Again, dressed in a police uniform.
The soon-to-be mother is taking on the role of a character named Shakti Shetty in this film directed by Rohit Shetty.
Alongside her, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.
Shakti, portrayed by Deepika, was introduced by the banner last year as the “most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe.”

In February this year, the couple shared the news of Deepika’s pregnancy with husband Ranveer Singh on social media, featuring a poster adorned with baby shoes and onesies.
Following the success of Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), Singham Again marks the third installment in Rohit Shetty’s multi-cop series. Ranveer will reprise his role as Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba, while Kareena is expected to return as Avni Kamat for the third film.
Deepika and Ranveer, both 38, exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy.
The frequent collaborators and actor couple have previously shared the screen in films such as Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and 83.
