Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar and cousin of Bhushan Kumar, passed away on July 18 at the age of 20 after a prolonged illness. The family described this period as extremely challenging and has requested privacy during their time of grief.
Due to adverse weather conditions in Mumbai, Tishaa’s last rites have been postponed to July 22, Monday, from the originally scheduled date of July 20.

As reported by ETimes, the family issued a statement saying, “Dear Friends and Family, It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Tishaa Kumar, cherished daughter of Krishan Kumar and Tanya Kumar, on July 18, 2024. Due to bad weather in Mumbai, the flight is diverted to Ahmedabad causing a delay in landing in Mumbai, hence we have to unfortunately perform the last rites tomorrow.”
The rites will be performed at Vile Parle Crematorium, Vile Parle West, Mumbai at 10 am. The family also added, “The prayer meeting remains as per schedule. It takes place at Ruby Ballroom, Hotel Sahara Star, on Monday, July 22 at 4 pm. Your presence and support during this difficult time would be deeply appreciated.”

Tishaa Kumar’s most recent public appearance was at the premiere of “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in November 2023. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Bobby Deol. Photos of her with Bhushan Kumar at the premiere were also shared on social media.
